How far is Brookfield Hall from UL?
It’s a 10 minute walk to the main gates of UL, however we do provide a shuttle bus service to the University which runs every day during the week from 7.50am to 6.30pm.
What are reception opening hours?
Reception is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday
Is there shops and restaurants nearby?
There is a convenience store with cafe, 2 No takeaways (Subway & Pizza) and an off licence all a 5 minute walk away.
Is there security on site?
Yes, there are residential wardens who are on duty from 5.30pm to 8.30am Monday to Friday and all weekends. They can be contacted on 061-333825 in the event of an emergency or if you get locked out of your apartment.
Is there parking for bikes?
Yes, we have bicycle racks outside each block. Bikes are left out at residents own risk.
Is Brookfield Hall on a bus route?
Located just outside Brookfield Hall you will find a bus stop that can take you into Limerick City. The Bus Route is 307 and runs hourly at 33 minutes past the hour from 8.33 to 20.33. Alternatively you can take bus number 304 from the University which leaves every 15 minutes.
How do you get to the Train Station and Bus Station from Brookfield Hall?
You can get 307 bus into Limerick City and the train/bus station is a 5 minute walk from the bus stop, ask the driver to tell you where to disembark.

What do I do if I have a maintenance problem?
If you have a maintenance problem, you can Log a myMaintenance request here and our team will attend to your problem in the quickest time possible. Alternately you can complete a maintenance for in reception.
What happens my deposit if I cancel my place?
Non First Year Students – cancellation date for refund minus €100 cancellation fee is 21/07/23. No Booking deposit refunded after this date.
Second Semester – cancellation date for refund minus €100 cancellation fee is 03/01/24. No booking deposit refunded after this date
First Year Student – cancellation date for refund minus €100 cancellation fee is 21/08/2023 TBC subject to change in line with CAO release date. No Booking deposit refunded after this date.
What if I leave before the end of the term of my licence?
If you move out of your apartment before the licence has finished there will be no refund of rent unless the room is re-let. This is purely at the discretion of the director and is not a right afforded under the terms of the licence agreement. In such instances the deposit paid is completely forfeit.
Have you any TV?
Each apartment has a 22 channels TV subscription. TVs and TV licenses are to be provided by residents.
What kind of Internet is in the apartments?
Each apartment has wireless internet connection.
What do I need to bring with me when I move in?
You only need to bring towels, items to dress your bed and any other personal items you wish to bring. The kitchen is outfitted with any cutlery and standard appliance you’ll need
What cooking equipment is provided?
All apartments come with a cooker, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. We also supply an extensive kitchen pack which includes cutlery, crockery and pans for you to use.
